Air France ramps up capital service
Skyteam carrier Air France has unveiled plans to add a third daily frequency from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Washington Dulles (IAD). The third daily flight will be added from May 03 and be operated with a mix of B777 and A340 aircraft. The only other carrier operating these airport pairs is United Airlines, member of Star Alliance.
Air France currently operates a heavy schedule from Charles de Gaulle into the US market with 134 scheduled weekly flights, serving twelve US destinations. Its largest markets in terms of capacity its New York (JFK) with 32 weekly flights and Los Angeles (LAX) with 18 weekly flights.
