Air Canada to inaugrate Copenhagen
Star Alliance member, Air Canada has announced that it is to commence non stop schedule service from its Toronto hub to Copenhagen with B767-300ER aircraft.
The announcement comes quickly after the carrier had announced services to Brussels, Barcelona and Athens, with a new focus designed on serving European leisure markets direct from Montreal and Toronto.
Currently there is no scheduled service from Toronto to Copenhagen, however there is significant indirect traffic with over 30,000 pax having travelled between the city pairs, with the leading connecting point being Reykjavik, 23% of market with Finnair and KLM via Amsterdam with 13% of the current market share.
