Air Arabia Receives AOC for New LCC
The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority has granted Air Arabia an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) which will enable the airline to launch its new subsidiary, Air Arabia Egypt next month.
The new carrier is a joint venture between Air Arabia and the travel and hospitality group, Travco and will serve Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets.
Alexandria will represent Air Arabia's third hub after UAE and Morocco and its first flights will serve Kuwait and Khartoum, the airline has said.
