AeroRepublica to start Bogota – Mexico City from Oct 2010

As per 17AUG10 GDS timetable display, AeroRepublica starting 02OCT10 is launching 1 Daily Bogota - Mexico City service with Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

The regional carrier will face competition on the sector from the following carriers;

• Avianca 14x weekly
• Mexicana 11x weekly
• Copa 7x weekly
• Aeromexico 7x weekly

IATA BSP data shows that between JUne 2009-10, over 109,000 O+D pax flew the sector with Mexicana having a 46% share of the market.
