Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is an international airport serving the French city of Lyon and the surrounding Rhône-Alpes region. Lyon is a major hub of aviation activity in the country, ranking among the busiest airports in France outside of Paris. easyJet and Air France are major operators at Lyon, which hosts over 30 airlines from across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The French Government completed the sale of its 60% stake in Nice Côte d'Azur Airport and Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport in Oct-2016. A consortium comprising of VINCI Airports, Caisse des Dépôts and Predica secured the 60% stake in Lyon-Saint Exupery Airport holding company Aeroports de Lyon. The contract would be valid through 31-Dec-2047.
