Flydubai announced seven new interline agreements on Oct. 21, bringing the carrier’s total number of interline partners to more than 40.
The new partnerships include agreements with Greece’s Aegean Airlines, Italy’s ITA Airways, Myanmar Airways International, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines.
The collaborations will give flydubai passengers access to more than 30 destinations in Europe and over 90 destinations in Asia.
“These agreements will provide our passengers even more flexibility and choice when planning their travel, offering access to our partners’ route networks across key markets in Asia and Europe,” flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said.
Through Aegean Airlines and ITA Airways, flydubai customers will gain access to key European destinations including Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Frankfurt, Madrid, Munich, Thessaloniki, Turin, and Venice.
In Asia, connections via flydubai’s new partners will open routes to major cities such as Beijing, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, and Yangon.
Passengers traveling on these interline routes will benefit from single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, simplifying the travel experience.
Flydubai, which has operated since 2009, now serves more than 135 destinations directly, enabling access to more than 300 destinations through its interline and codeshare partners.
