Lithuanian operator GetJet Airlines has signed a seasonal wet-lease agreement with Etihad Airways.
Under the agreement, two Airbus A320 family aircraft from the GetJet fleet will be based at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.
Operations are set to begin Oct. 1. One Airbus A320 will be operated directly by GetJet Airlines, while the second aircraft will be provided by Airhub Airlines, another company under the GetJet Aviation Holdings umbrella.
Together, the two aircraft will serve routes including Amman, Beirut, and selected flights to Cairo and Muscat during the autumn and early winter travel period, enhancing Etihad Airways’ regional network capacity.
“Etihad is recognized worldwide for its excellence, and it is a privilege to contribute to their network,” GetJet Founder Aleksandr Celiadin says. “At GetJet Airlines, we strive for the highest quality in our operations and remain fully focused on adjusting to any needs our customers have.”
GetJet, which launched in 2016, provides aircraft wet lease, aircraft management and charter services from its hub of Vilnius International Airport. It says it operates a fleet of 16 aircraft, including Boeing 737-800 as well as A320 and A321 models.
