By the end of 2025, Anguilla will have two direct flights to the U.S. after BermudAir launches seasonal service linking the eastern Caribbean island to Boston and Baltimore.

BermudAir CEO Adam Scott said in a social media post that AnguillAir is a new branded expansion of “BermudAir’s first scheduled service into the Caribbean.” The direct flights to the U.S. commence Dec. 19.

“AnguillAir marks the beginning of a new chapter,” Scott said.

BermudAir recently took delivery of a second Embraer E190 and now has a fleet of two E175s and two of the larger E-Jets. Both types are configured in a two-class layout, with the E175s offering 10 seats in business class and 60 in economy. The E190s will feature eight seats in business class and 88 in economy.

“We’re the first airline in Bermuda, and I just see a world of opportunity,” Scott said at the recent CAPA Airline Leader Summit Americas. He said that reaching Bermuda previously required a “six-hour jaunt through Charlotte or one of the big hubs.” BermudAir debuted in September 2023.

The airline flies to Halifax, Montreal and Toronto Pearson in Canada and 10 U.S. destinations from Bermuda’s LF Wade International Airport. Its most recent additions include service to Providence, Rhode Island, and Richmond, Virginia.

BermudaAir said the expansion to Anguilla builds on the airline’s continued growth since its launch. The updated schedule incorporating the Anguilla routes from Boston and Baltimore “will see service to Providence suspended and Fort Lauderdale adjusted to operate as a winter-only route,” the airline said.

According to Aviation Week’s CAPA, American Airlines is the only U.S. carrier operating to Anguilla, offering twice daily service from its Miami hub with E175s.
