Aircraft crashes in Somalia
A cargo plane with ten crew members crashed in Islamist Shabaab territory in Somalia yesterday.
The aircraft crashed in Omar Bere, 30 miles south of the capital Mogadishu, Capital reported.
"We have confirmed a plane crash over Shabaab-controlled areas in Lower Shabelle. We assume that the wreckage of the aircraft and any survivors are in the custody of the militants," announced a government official.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
