Air Namibia receives second A330
Air Namibia has taken delivery of its second new Airbus A330-200 under a deal with aircraft leasing firm Intrepid Aviation.
Intrepid was also responsible for financing the first A330 to the southern African airline in September.
Both aircraft are powered by Rolls Royce Trent 772B engines.
“With the second A330-200 delivering today, we are pleased to be part of Air Namibia’s fleet roll-over to more modern and fuel efficient aircraft, significantly enhancing its passenger cabin product to world class standards”, said Franklin Pray, Intrepid’s president and CEO.
Air Namibia’s managing director Theopoltina Namases, welcomed the new arrival and said: “This marks another important step in the modernisation of our fleet and our ongoing commitment to offer our customers an exceptional level of service.”
