Air India Express adds Muscat flights

Air India Express, the subsidiary of Air India, has announced new flights connecting three new destinations in India with Muscat.

"In keeping with the increasing demand, Air India Express will start a flight connecting Muscat with Amritsar," said Mohit Sain, Air India country manager, Oman, said in a Gulf News report.
He said the flight will go via Abu Dhabi on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from September 4.
The airline will also connect Mangalore and Kochi with Muscat. The low-cost carrier will fly two additional flights a week between Muscat and Kochi (via Mangalore) on Wednesdays and Fridays.
