Air Guinée plans for relaunch
The Guinean government plans to resurrect national carrier Air Guinée in attempt to enhance domestic connectivity in West Africa.
Minister of Transport, Oye Guilavogui, said: “We are in talks to revive Air Guinée and the Rwandan experience will help us a lot. Rwanda is landlocked, and they have a lot of experience with air transport, so we are learning from them."
The carrier collapsed in 2002 due to debt.
