Air Charter Service in for record year
Air Charter Service's (ACS) Dubai office is due for its record year, having arranged more charters for 2015 than any of its previous years.
Andrew Summers, managing director of ACS Middle East, spoke out about ACS’s successful year.
“We have increased staff numbers by 30% this year – it is a mix of experienced locals and expats from our other global offices.
“The market in the region has changed with the huge scaling back of military operations into Iraq and Afghanistan over the past few years. We never relied on this area of the market, so our business has not been impacted in the same way as some other aviation companies based here.
“The launch of www.airchartermideast.ae, our revamped UAE website, has increased enquiries since it went live earlier this year.
“We have beaten our record year in terms of number of charters, with still more than one month left in our financial year. Revenue is also currently up almost 15% year on year, so we are hoping to continue this until the end of the financial year.”
