AIR CANADA and TRANSAT mutually agreed to terminate their Arrangement Agreement for proposed acquisition of Transat by Air Canada due to inability to obtain EC approval (SPNWS; Oct 16). Air Canada will pay Transat a termination fee of $12.5m.
