Air Austral signs contract with AFI KLM

Air Austral has signed a wide-ranging contract with AFI KLM for two Boeing 787 aircraft due to enter the fleet this spring.

The agreement covers support, engineering, Maintenance Control Services (MCS) components, and light and line maintenance services.
"Air Austral will benefit from the expertise of staff at our brand-new Hélios engineering facility, opened in 2015 to extend our aero structures and composites capabilities," said Fabrice Defrance, AFI KLM E&M senior vice president, commercial.
“We were already highly satisfied with the 777 support provided by AFI KLM E&M. So we are quite naturally maintaining our partnership and strengthening it with support for our 787s," added Pierre Bosse, chief operating officer, Air Austral.
