Aéroport Montpellier Méditerranée delays Dakar flights

Aéroport Montpellier Méditerranée (AMM) has said the planned launch of direct flights to Dakar has been delayed until next year, ch-aviation reports.

The flights are to be organised by Swiss ACMI specialist Jetlease using an A320-200.
A cooperation agreement signed between AMM and Aéroports du Senegal last year to encourage tourism to Senegal saw the flights being introduced.
If the launch goes ahead, the route will be Montpellier’s only long haul service.
