Poll: Are you changing your air travel plans in response to the coronavirus outbreak?

China has closed all airports in Hubei, the central province worst hit by a contagious and deadly virus emanating from its capital, Wuhan.

The government has also banned sales of group tours and flight-hotel packages as part of its effort to contain the viral outbreak.

Airports and airlines all over the globe are taking extra precautions. Many airports are implementing special screening procedures to identify arriving passengers that may have the coronavirus. This mostly applies to flights arriving from Wuhan, but in some cases other flights from China are also being screened.

Several airlines from Asia and outside the region have stopped flying to Wuhan. Many are also allowing passengers to alter China travel plans without penalty. The effect on traffic and revenue cannot yet be gauged.
