Three weeks left to register for BCASS

There are just three weeks left to register for the second edition of the Border Control, Airport and Seaport Security Conference 2011 (BCASS), which takes place on November 2 at the InterContinental, Abu Dhabi.

This year's edition will draw on government officials and industry experts from the UAE, Gulf and abroad to discuss pertinent border control and port security issues.

Speakers featured on this year's BCASS speaker panel include: H.E. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan , Minster of public works, chairman of the higher committee for UAE civil seaports and airports security ; H.E. Ghazi Al Aridi , Minister of transport and public works, Lebanon; and Dr. Naser Al-Mansouri , general manager, UAE National Transport Authority .

Discussions will include: ‘ The role of seaports and airports in the promotion of foreign trade for the UAE’, ‘Safeguarding GCC borders through collaborative security strategies’ , and ‘ The combined public/private approach to transport security early warning and protection of off-shore facilities’.
