TAV Academy now International Civil Aviation Organization private training centre
TAV Academy has become one of the 16 International Civil Aviation Organization private training centres worldwide following audit.
The two month auditing process has resulted in TAV Academy being authorised to provide certified aviation training by ICAO as they meet standards of training design, presentations, competency of trainers and quality management systems.
Head of TAV Academy, Barış Müstecaplıoğlu said: "Becoming a global brand in airport operation business, the most important capital of TAV Airports has been its know-how and human resources. Founded to deliver the know-how of TAV to the world by developing it through institutionalization, TAV Academy has been certified to provide training all around the world by the ICAO, the main global organization of civil aviation.”
ICAO aims to improve the competencies of aviation employees and define global training standards.
They have certified TAV Academy as ICAO TRAINAIR Plus member as of August 2015.
TAV Academy trains more than 15,000 employees of TAV Airports, which services 14 airports across the world.
TAV Academy is also one of the 15 global training centres of Airport Council International (ACI).
