Duties / Responsibilities

As the Senior Vice President for Ground Services you will be wholely responsible for all Ramp, Ground, Engineering and Safety services. Moreover, you shall have partial responsibility for Customer Service and will have further duties within Special Projects, Quality and HR. You will be fully accountable for the divisions manpower, annual budget and revenue as well as drawing up strategic plans for the Airlines ambitious expansion plans. Negotiating ground handling agreements, staff training and policy development will also fall under your domain. The role is one that will test your resolve and administration skills in dealing with operational issues whilst simultaneously offering exciting strategic challenges in meeting the projected growth plans. Overall, you shall be measured on the productivity of the staff, revenue targets, performance standards and the robustness of the management systems.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree (ideally within aviation), MBA is preferred

Experience Minimum of 15-20 years work experience, 10 of which must be in managing a major profit centre and 5 leading anairline ground handling division. Proven experience in Strategic planning and implementation, change management, contract negotiation and management of a multi-cultueral workforce is also a must.
