Sharjah to host employee security conference

Security comes under the microscope at a new conference taking place in Sharjah in May

The Aviation Training Workshop "Airport & Airline Employee Security Awareness" to be held on May 30, 2011 in Sharjah. It is organized ny Aeropodium in association with Spranza Inc. and it is hosted by Skyline University College.

The programme focuses on the duties and cooperative role each individual plays in maintaining effective and efficient airside and land side proactive security measures. The organisers say this workshop provides all the essentials needed to institute an on-site security awareness program, maintain compulsory documentation and involve stakeholders in a unique learning experience.


The programme claims to assist airports, airlines or regulatory authorities to save time and precious budget resources by providing fully customizable "ready made" templates, document blanks, posters and more in a variety of key languages. Delegates will learn the requirements, components and maintenance of an effective Employee Security Awareness Program compliant with US 49 CFR, EU 2300 and ICAO Annex 17, Doc 8973 as well as related State Standards and Practices.

The Workshop Leader is Francis G. Spranza, M.A., President, Spranza Inc. As founder and Director of Spranza International he has developed over 50 AVSEC in-service training programs for airports, airline operators and Civil Aviation Authorities around the globe.
