Client Profile
Zenon Aviation Recruitment is currently searching for a Schedules Planning Analyst on behalf of an established low-cost carrier based in the United Arab Emirates.
The role requires someone to provide support to the scheduling managers, assisting with the publication of the Operating Plan.
Key requirements
· Assist with the Operating Plan publication and transmission internally as well as external customers
· Assist with the management of the slot portfolio, cancelling unused slots in a timely manner to ensure historic slots are maintained
· Develop and enhance the current management reporting of the schedules, tracking actual performance against budget, in terms of capacity deployed and aircraft utilisation
· Identify opportunities to improve current schedules and develop various scenarios for competing alternatives
· Manage the various industry databases such as time-zones files, airport master files etc., to ensure that the scheduling software is accurate
· Track and monitor differences between planned and actuals of block times and turn times, reporting the results back to the scheduling team in order to take corrective action and improve on time performance
· Produce schedule filings and letters for seasonal submissions and regulatory approvals and track progress of these documents
· Collect and analyse feedback from Commercial on preferred timings and days of operations for routes to suggest adjustment to schedules
The successful applicant will have experience in a network planning or scheduling role. Experience in coputer based scheduling software would be beneficial as well as knowledge of airline scheduling standards.
A degree or higher qualification is required, preferably in Economics, Business, Mathematics or Science. You will have excellent problem solving and decision making skills as well as a high attention to detail and quality.
