PwC reports there were 447 aerospace/defense M&A deals worth $93.8b in 2019 vs 464 worth $59b in 2018; average deal size rose 68%, mainly due to Ratheon/UTC merger, valued at $52b. It is projecting continued strength in M&A activity in 2020.
