Public get own spot for Dubai Airshow spectacular
Members of the public will be able to have an active part in the Dubai Airshow for the first time this year – but it won't get in the way of business.
Show organiser F&E Aerospace, is launching a new event to give families and enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the show’s world class flying display for the very first time.
Skyview at the Dubai Airshow will be held in a dedicated area next to the Dubai Airshow trade event from 18 to 21 November 2013 at Dubai World Central (DWC), Jebel Ali, Dubai.
Skyview at the Dubai Airshow will feature a purpose-built grandstand that can seat up to 6,000 visitors each day. F&E Aerospace said it is fully committed to making Skyview soar to great heights with crowds of over 16,000 expected throughout the four days; to watch the world’s top pilots manoeuvre their aircraft in the Dubai skies.
Whilst the exhibitions halls and static display will be accessible to Dubai Airshow attendees only; there will be a range of activities on offer at Skyview to entertain the masses in a fun, informative and interactive way in addition to the flying display. There will also be food and beverage outlets catering to every taste and the organisers are confident that Skyview will offer Dubai front row access to the action.
Sharief Fahmy, CEO of F&E Aerospace said: “The move to our new venue – Dubai World Central has given us the opportunity to develop and grow the show and as a team we couldn’t think of anything better than to build a separate area especially for the local community. We’re putting together a special programme that will give spectators something to remember both on the ground and in the sky. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Skyview in November.”
Daily tickets for Skyview cost Dhs60 per adult and Dhs30 for children under 12. Visitors should check the website www.skyview.aero for full details and to purchase tickets.
