Duties / Responsibilities
*Support Management during the pre-contract phases by ensuring that the programme contracts are realistic and achievable from a cost, quality, business realisation and multiple stakeholder perspective;
*Provide leadership to the Programme team (internal and external resources) ensuring that the vision of the organisational change or programme is appropriately communicated;
*Create high level plans which provide guidance to the project managers/project directors who are tasked with creating plans at a more detailed level;
*Manage the programme through an established Programme Management Office (PMO) and track and validate activities
through established governance and steering committee processes
* Manage programme budgets including Profit & Loss and costs structures during the full life cycle of the Programme to ensure budget is met

Proposed duration
Full time contract of 12 months with a very high chance of extending
Qualifications
*At least 10-15 years in Project Management/Programme Management having managed with a proven PM
methodology one or more large sized critical projects with full budget control in a commercial environment.
*Ideally 10 years in IT solutions provider environment with knowledge of solutions and underlying technologies.
*Experience of working within a complex Management structure with a large number of programme roles.
*Government and/or Airline industry experience preferred
*MUST have excellent Client management skills
Skills / Expertise
Excellent communications skills. Must speak fluent Arabic and English.
*University degree or equivalent.
*MUST have formal project management training and certification - PMP certified and “come up” through a Program Management background
