Principle Avionics Engineer
VHR are urgently seeking an experienced Principle Avionics Engineer for an exciting opportunity and excellent terms of employment
Reporting to the Aircraft Reliability Engineering Manager, accountabilities of the role include but not limited to:
- Ensure appropriate operation of the Client operating fleet for all "AIRCRAFT AVIONICS" Items.
- Implement best-practice with regard to the Aircraft Engineering functions
- Generate required Engineering Documents that are used to support Aircraft Technical-Operations such as Engineering Orders (EO), Engineering Evaluation Sheet (EES), Engineering Support Requests (ESR), Engineering Repair (ER), Engineering Authorization (EA), etc
- Monitor and improve the Aircraft Maintenance Reliability in terms of "AVIONICS"
- Provide Engineering-Structure-Support whenever needed to return Aircraft-to-Service due to Structural failures.
- Communicate with Manufacturers as needed to improve/restore AIRCRAFT AVIONICS issues
- Assist Flight Operations in generating aircraft manuals such as MEL, CDL
- Contribute actively to the management team the development and achievement of operating plans for the Client in order to improve performance & promote sustainable business growth
- Determine what technical training and development required for engineering department and recommend special training for Engineering staff to improve reliability of aircraft systems and components and to ensure that training plans are completed and details of training and qualification
- Have strong leadership and management skills to lead the "Aircraft, Structure Reliability Department"
- Generate performance appraisal for Engineering department staff periodically to monitor department staff output
- Any other duties delegated to him by the Aircraft Reliability Engineering Manger, or higher management
Required:
Avionics/System: All ATA Chapters relating to Avionics and Systems; ATAs 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 and 38
