Airbus Helicopters has secured a long-awaited contract to develop and upgrade French and Spanish Tiger attack helicopters. The Tiger Mk.III contract, awarded to Airbus by European defense materiel agency OCCAR on behalf of the two nations, covers the upgrade of 42 French Army Tigers with options for 25 more, and 18 for Spain.

The company has delivered more than 17,000 doses of AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines but Pfizer’s needs ultracold-chain conditions, requiring transport at temperatures between -90C and -60C (-170F and -76F).
