The US provides Egypt with $1.3 billion a year in military aid. Would AWST please consider abandoning the obvious fiction that Egypt is "buying" C-130s? All that they are doing is deciding in what form they want their aid money delivered.
The same principle applies to Israel "purchasing" F-35s and KC-46s with the US aid money that it receives.
