U.S. Approves IRST Pod Export For Taiwan F-16s

The U.S. State Department has approved a $500 million sale of infrared search and tracking (IRST) sensors to Taiwan, giving its air force's fleet of Lockheed Martin F-16s a new sensor to passively track aerial targets.

ClearSpace, a startup focused on in-orbit servicing and space-debris removal, says a leftover payload adapter floating in Earth’s orbit, that it planned to remove from space, has been hit by another fast-moving, small piece of junk.
