Coordinate and supervise technical contents, revision and production of the Flight Crew Operating Manual and Quick Reference Handbook

Act as the Flight Operations focal point for all operational aspects of the introduction of new aircraft into service. Including; mission specifications and constraints assessment; coordination of operational deployment; standard operation procedures and air crew notices; aircraft operations and performance calculations; validation of flight plans; weight and balance calculations and quality assurance

Ensure the regular monitoring of aircraft performance through all stages of flight and the production of related reports as required

Ensure that any abnormal procedures are fully analysed and appropriate guidance is available to all impacted departments (crew and dispatch)

Assist the Manager for Flight Operations Support where required

To support Flight Operations in the management of all Operations Engineering activities around fleet operations, aircraft documentation and performance, operations planning, fuel conservation and cost optimisation.

Permanent

A degree in an Engineering Discipline is preferred. Knowledge and experience of B737NG would be advantageous.

A minimum of 3years experience in a Flight Engineering role, knowledge of Aircraft Systems and Aircraft Performance principles and applications, proficient in Manufacturer's Operations Engineering Software Applications.

Effective team management, communication and organisation skills. You must also have attention to detail and quality and have technical understanding.
