MTU AERO ENGINES had €49m net income on €989m revenues in 1Q21 vs €112m on €1.3b in 1Q20, and ended quarter with order backlog of €20.2b, up 9% from start of 2021, reflecting healthy orders for V2500s and GTFs, especially PW1100G-JM.
