MEBA 2014 moves to a new home at DWC
MEBA 2012 successfully moved to Dubai World Central (DWC), located in Jebel Ali - where show organisers F&E Aerospace, converted the Airport terminal to function as a temporary exhibition venue.
However, MEBA is set to move once again for 2014, to a new purpose built home in Dubai World Central; the world’s first purpose-built aerotropolis. The upcoming Dubai Airshow is set to take place at the same venue later this year.
The relocation to DWC was well received at MEBA 2012, where exhibitor Mike Berry, managing director Middle East of Execujet Aviation said: “MEBA resolved the myth of DWC for many people who have seen it for the first time and now understand the reality of it coming together.. this will be the undisputed business aviation hub of the Middle East.”
Ali Al Naqbi, founding chairman of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) said: “Moving MEBA to DWC marks a pivotal moment for us; especially with the recent migration of business aviation to that area. The new location provides us with the freedom of developing and growing the show.”
