Duties / Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing timely and accurate legal advice, as well as contract drafting and negotiating and advising on regulatory documents, in line with the needs of business managers of the company. This position must ensure that regulatory compliance is observed throughout the company. This position will also be responsible for instructing and managing external legal advisors to ensure the delivery of high quality legal advice. Finally, this position will identify key risks and liabilities within the business.

Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelors/Masters degree in Law, and any post graduate qualifications (LPC/BVC) are preferable. 5 years PQE as a minimum. Membership of a Bar Association is also preferred.

Skills / Expertise

The ability to draft legal documents/contracts in both English and Arabic is ESSENTIAL.
