Duties / Responsibilities
Carry out all preventative maintenance, as detailed in the CAE quality documents, to achieve required availability and reliability on training devices. To be part of a dynamic team of technical staff that will be accountable to meet a pre-defined set of technical measurement criteria for simulator performance (reporting metrics).
Job purpose
Too support operations by maintaining simulators and associated equipment.

Qualifications
Technical College Diploma in electronics or aviation preferred
Experience
Minimum 2 years related work experience
Skills / Expertise
Knowledge of English language, both spoken and written, customer orientated, basic understanding of aircraft terminology or simulation devices, able to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and other technical documents, basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, possess basic troubleshooting skills as well as having knowledge of how to use electronic test equipment such as voltage meter, oscilloscope, basic knowledge of computer networking and knowledge of at least one of the following operating systems: Unix, Lynux, Windows NT, AIX. Basic knowledge of software languages C and FORTRAN, an asset. Basic knowledge of local and international regulations (FAA and JAA), as they pertain to flight training devices would be considered an asset
