Duties / Responsibilities
Advising managers on recruitment strategy, advertising posts, short listing, interviewing and selection to ensure that they follow the relevant procedures
Liaising with recruitment agencies, taking first interviews with department managers
Ensuring offer letters, contracts of employment and other employment related administration is carried out effectively
Ensure mangers comply with HR policies and procedures e.g. Appraisals and coaching
Support colleagues in identifying and meeting, learning and development needs
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data
Update and maintain the HR Software
Conduct Exit interviews, and analyse the feedback to be used effectively
Monitor insurances, Workmen Compensation, Medical, Updating of personal data with the Insurance Company
Ensure all Managers are aware of their obligations under health and safety regulations
Ensure relevant health and safety training is given to all staff, maintaining records of health and safety training
Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers

Job Purpose
To provide guidance and support to all colleagues on HR matters and to ensure that all HR policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications
Must hold a recognized HR qualification
Experience
Need to have an understanding and experience in HR - including recruitment and selection, contractual documentation, policies and procedures.
Experience in maintaining HR records for a growing team
Knowledge of budget and financial processes and the ability to work in a cost-effective manner
Computer literacy particularly a high level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Skills/ Expertise
Strong time management skills with an ability to plan ahead and anticipate problems, using your own initiative and be able to work to tight deadlines with a high attention for detail and accuracy.
Have excellent written and spoken English and excellent communication skills to communicate with a range of audiences at different levels.
High level of organisational and administrative skills to aid personal organisation and support others
Ability to focus on high level of detail and operate accurately
Have the ability to provide coaching and support to managers on HR policies and procedures
Understanding of UAE employment law to ensure compliance in all areas of HR
Ability to establish and manage office systems and processes
Discretion when dealing with confidential information, and high level of influencing and negotiating skills
Apply personal organisation strategies and processes to prioritise and effectively manage a large and diverse workload in a pressured environment.
