VHR on behalf of a Prestigious Middle East Aviation Charter Services organisation, is urgently seeking an experienced Head of Quality & Safety for an exciting and highly challenging permanent opportunity based in KSA.
Duties / Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- The administration, implementation and monitoring of the company Quality Assurance and
safety Programs (Quality Management System and Safety Management System).
- For the development, maintenance and approval of the quality assurance and safety manuals.
- To ensure continuous compliance to regulatory, customer, and company requirements through
the implementation of the Internal Quality & Safety Audits of the company’s processes and
procedures.
- To implement the company’s vendor approval system to ensure that contracted maintenance
and aircraft parts are sourced from approved organizations.
- Responsible for the overall management and budgetary control of the company Quality
Assurance (QA).
- Ensures compliance with accurate Accident & Incident Reporting System and monitoring of the
implementation of the appropriate actions to address the noted discrepancies.
- Provides awareness to all the company personnel regarding quality and safety issues, through
the regular issuance of Quality Notices/Alerts.
- Provides regular reports/ briefings to the accountable manager regarding major technical
quality and technical safety issues and trends.
- Manage third party auditors (during regulatory, customer, contractor audits) ensuring that
findings are documented, relayed to the concerned departments, and closed efficiently within
the specified periods.
