Duties / Responsibilities
Strategic communications, planning including developing and communicating corporate positioning, corporate messaging and communications campaigns.
Develop and manage the Company’s corporate PR/AR campaign activities.
Oversee all internal communications relating to business activities including creating newsletter and other appropriate vehicles to communicate department and company vision to employees.
Define the appropriate external communication vehicles for the company’s maturity/ size.
Be a role model for the company culture and achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
Act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events.
Maximizing revenue and good will through networking and managing all key external contacts to ensure the best image and visibility for the company.
Consistently engage and educate the government and the public with positive stories and press releases on the company.
Job purpose
Responsible for providing senior leadership and management of the Company’s national and regional corporate positioning, communications (PR) programs/campaigns and PR management.

Qualifications
Experience
• Degree in Communication / Marketing / PR
• 10yrs minimum experience in communications, of which a minimum of 3yrs within the aviation industry
• Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Project and Powerpoint)
