GE AVIATION earned $1b on $7.4b sales in 1Q20 vs $1.7b on $8b in 1Q19; orders fell 14%. It says earnings drop is primarily due to lower volumes and negative mix pressure in Commercial Services from COVID-19 crisis and lower spare engine units.
