GCAA sign MRO with the Philippines

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed an air services memorandum of understanding with the Philippines, reports Gulfnews.com.

Under the agreement, both countries have agreed that there will be no restriction on the number of frequencies for both passenger and all-cargo that can be operated by the designated airlines of each side between points in the UAE and points in the Philippines other than Manila. With regard to Manila, passenger frequencies will double in the near future for both Philippines and UAE carriers in order to keep up with the growth of air traffic between the two countries.
