Food for thought on operational safety

The World Food Programme is holding a Line Operation Safety Audit (LOSA) and Threat Error Management (TEM) Conference at the Hilton, Abu Dhabi today.

The conference, is expecting to attract key players in the aviation industry, and is promoting the theme “Hazard identification in normal airline operations and tailoring LOSA and applying threat and error management.”
The conference is opened under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy and Chairman of GCAA Board, with the collaboration of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
The Chief of the Aviation Safety Unit of the World Food Programme, Mr. Pierre Carasse is visiting the UAE for to brief the audience on the conference objective. These objectives are approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO),and are being implemented by leading airlines in the world and would enhance the overall safety elements of the flights.
