Emirates scoops Condé Nast Traveller award

Emirates Airline was named 'Best Long-haul Airline' at Condé Nast Traveller's Reader Awards ceremony last night.

The airline has already picked up awards for ‘Best Long-haul Airline’ and ‘Best Airline’ at the 2013 Globe Travel Awards and ‘World’s Best Airline’ from Skytrax.

Laurie Berryman, Emirates vice president UK, said: “Being named ‘Best Long-haul Airline’ by the discerning readers of Condé Nast Traveller is a reflection of our commitment to improving services across all classes and transforming the overall experience for travellers.

He added: “In Business and First Class, long haul journeys begin with Emirates’ Chauffeur Drive service taking customers from their home or work straight to the airport. Once in the air, passengers can experience the on-board spa on our A380s First Class cabin, luxurious flat beds and wi-fi. Passengers in all classes experience our award winning ice entertainment system and gourmet food and fine wine. And operating from six convenient airports in the UK allows our passengers to cut their journey times when flying long-haul.”
