Al Jaber Aviation (AJA) was granted permanent approval to use the IPAD as an EFB, (Electronic Flight Bag) on its fleet of Aircraft. This approval was after a six month trial period under the supervision of the GCAA. AJA is the first airline in the UAE to gain such approval.

Jazeera Airways announced that it has signed a multi-year deal with Navitaire, a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture, to use its New Skies 3.0 next generation reservation system. The system will allow the airline to provide customers with a more efficient reservation system and to bolster value creation for the airline, it said.
