Rolls-Royce, kicked off the Dubai show this morning with $2bn of Trent orders. It announced this evening that it has won an order for Trent 700 engines to power 20 Air China Airbus A330 aircraft. The contract, worth $1.5bn at list prices, includes long-term TotalCare service support.

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has selected Rockwell Collins communication, navigation and surveillance systems to be offered as baseline equipment for line fit on 70 of the company's new Airbus A320 aircraft. Delivery of the aircraft is scheduled from 2011 through 2015.
