Dubai Airshow: DAE selects Rockwell Collins as baseline systems for A320 fleet

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has selected Rockwell Collins communication, navigation and surveillance systems to be offered as baseline equipment for line fit on 70 of the company's new Airbus A320 aircraft. Delivery of the aircraft is scheduled from 2011 through 2015.

“We’re excited to begin a new relationship with DAE as we continue to expand our business with major aircraft leasing companies,” said Jeff Standerski, vice president and general manager of Air Transport Systems for Rockwell Collins. “DAE’s selection of our systems as the preferred baseline configuration shows their confidence in our leading edge communication, navigation and surveillance avionics.”

The Rockwell Collins avionics will be offered as "baseline" when DAE leases an aircraft to an end-user airline. Specific end-user aircraft avionics configurations will vary depending on end-user preference.
