EgyptAir to host MENA Aviation Day in Sharm el-Sheikh
EgyptAir is to host the regional conference Middle East and North Africa Aviation Day on April 22.
Final preparations are underway to welcome more than 100 delegates to one of meetings for airlines, international and regional organizations, airports, government agencies, aviation suppliers and aircraft manufacturers, taking place in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh and organized by the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) on April 22.
The conference titled: “Aviation, Together Towards Energising the Future,” will shed light on the infrastructure challenges facing the industry, issue concerning air space; airport capacity; updating regulations; efficient use of technology; how to best leverage human capital in aviation, and how to overcome difficulties in recruitment and placement of local qualified human resources.
The conference will be attended by Capt. Tawfik Assi, Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company, Tom Windmuller, IATA’s Corporate Secretary and senior vice president, member and government relations; Abdul Wahab Teffaha, secretary general of Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) and Hussein Dabbas, IATA’s vice president, Middle East and North Africa.
