EBACE: Bahrain Air Show to get top quality show daily for the first time

Bahrain Air Show is to have its own show daily when the second edition kicks off in January next year.

A deal was signed at EBACE today between Mark Brown, managing director of Times Aerospace, publishers of Arabian Aerospace magazine and Captain Al Gaoud, Bahrain's undersecretary for civil aviation.

The Arabian Aerospace daily called 'Show Business ' was launched in association with Aerocomm Ltd at last year's MRO show in Dubai and was the market leader among a number of international show dailies at the MEBA event in December.

"We were very pleased to have been asked to work with the Bahrain Civil Aviation authority and the organisers Farnborough International to produce a daily newspaper for the Bahrain show," Brown said.

"The show is very different from many others on the circuit but it attracts visitors with strong purchasing power and exhibitors or sponsors that are among the top names in the industry. We believe we can add value to their show experience and we are happy to be part of the Bahrain air show experience."

The show takes place at the Sakhir Air Base on January 19-21 2012.
