Dubai Helishow 2010 Takes off in full swing
The fourth edition of the Dubai Helishow opened its doors today at the Dubai Airport Expo Centre, inaugurated by Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Art.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, the exhibition,
organized by Mediac Communications & Exhibitions LLC., will be running until Thursday 4th
November.
This year's show is said to be hosting over 100 exhibitors within the air rescue, search & rescue, and medical transport industry.
Show organisers claim that the
growing helicopter industry in the region is out in full strength at the event, with top national and international names being present. Organisers say that t
he three-day event has already started attracting senior level buyers and business visitors from various sectors, with around 3000 visitors expected over the next three days.
The 2010 edition is set to host discussion groups and presentations throughout its course, and today witnessed a discussion group hosted for the first time in the VIP area of the Dubai Helishow by the MedEvac Foundation International. The debate tackled the advancement in the Medical Transport worldwide through the support of research, education, outreach and other charitable services.
The first Military & Homeland Security Exhibition is also going to be taking place during the three-day event. The exhibition and conference promise to bring into sharp focus the growing market for homeland security, homeland defense solutions, and provide visitors access to a comprehensive set of product and service providers.
