Dubai Airshow's new hall gets royal approval

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum President of Dubai's Department of Civil Aviation, has made an on-site inspection of the additional exhibition facilities for next month's Dubai Airshow, erected due to unprecedented demand.

Running from 15 to 19 November 2009 at the Airport Expo in Dubai, the biennial airshow is the foremost aerospace event in the Middle East and the fastest growing in the world.

Sponsored by Emirates Airline, the new 'Emirates Hall' covers 7,025sqm, with 5,000sqm for exhibition stands and 1,200sqm for an enhanced press centre. The additional exhibition space brings the total airshow area to 325,513sqm, which includes the static aircraft display park.
