Duties / Responsibilities
• Identify parts orders that are currently scheduled for delivery in the future that can be pulled in for early shipment to customers. Distribute this information to management and procurement specialist on a regular basis for action and follow up with vendors.
• Identify parts orders that are currently scheduled for delivery in the future and have no customer requirements. Provide this information to management and procurement specialists in order to push out scheduled deliveries.
• Run and distribute required departmental reports.
• Using a variety of sources, provide information regarding competitive sources of product availability and related pricing. Provide this information to management and procurement specialists for distribution to our suppliers.
• Assemble and analyze all pertinent data elements (usage history, lead-times, seasonality, market trends, aircraft platform analysis, inventory, etc) to maintain established operational readiness metrics.
• Provide management on an on-going basis with summaries of individual OEM delivery and quality performance.
• Identify those orders that are late and distribute this information, on regular bases, to management and procurement specialists for action.
• Assist management and procurement specialists in special projects as required.
• Provide LT analysis and recommend ordering material on forecast as necessary, based on projected production plan.
• Ability to proactively provide members of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department with various forms of data on an ongoing basis. In addition, position will require development of new reports and maintaining an integrated SCM database.

Experience
• Bachelor Degree in related field and 2-4 years of relevant experience in Aerospace industry.
Skills / Expertise
• The selected candidate must provide that he or she is totally competent in Microsoft Access and Excel. This proof must be demonstrated by completing and company supervised examination before the interview process begins.
• The selected candidate will be involved in critical asset planning and allocation among fixed and rotary wing programs/platforms for material support issues and must have a full understanding of the overall purchasing processes.
• Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical and logic abilities a must. Knowledge of the shipping and receiving process and logistics including what material is hazardous or requires special shipping containers or packaging desired. Knowledge of certifications such as log cards and C of C’s from OEM’s desired. Knowledge of Export/Import regulations and procedures a plus. Knowledge of customers export/import licenses that are in place a plus. Expertise in assigned commodities across all platforms a plus.
• Needs to be detailed oriented; able to work in a high energy, dynamic environment; demonstrated ability to be flexible; and an adept problem solver.
