Duties / Responsibilities
A leading MRO facility in Middle East is currently looking to recruit a Chief Operations officer to manage their engineering and maintenance functions.
• Lead and manage the maintenance facilities for timely & efficient development of new capabilities.
• Development of procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure that industry best practice is driven through the company, to include Engineering, Technical Planning and Production Control.
• Forecasting, budgeting, planning and provisioning of manpower resources and equipment, including the procurement and maintenance of facilities, assets, tooling and ground support equipment required to support maintenance work undertaken by the company.
• Expansion planning in long, medium and short terms in relation to Maintenance, facility, staffing, equipment, IT, capacity and changing industrial and business opportunities and environment.
• Ensure all Senior Managers, Managers and Supervisory Staff discharge their responsibilities in accordance with company policies, guidelines and their respective terms of reference

Qualifications
• Engineering Degree is an advantage.
• Licensed Aircraft Engineer
Experience
• Minimum of 15 years in the aviation industry of which at least 6 years was in a Management grade position and 3 years in a Senior management role.
• Extensive proven track record in the MRO/Airline environment
Skills / Expertise
• Strong comprehension and knowledge of airworthiness regulations.
• Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals
